DIRECT TO FILM
Direct to Film (DTF) printing is a cutting-edge technology that allows us to print full-color designs onto a special film, which is then transferred onto fabric using heat and pressure. This process produces highly detailed, stretch-resistant, and washable prints, making it perfect for t-shirts, hoodies, and other garments. Unlike traditional screen printing, DTF works on a wide range of fabrics, including cotton, polyester, blends, and more.
HEAT TRANSFER FILM
Our heat transfer method applies pre-printed designs onto fabric using heat and pressure, creating a smooth, durable, and vibrant finish. This technique is great for custom designs, logos, and text-based graphics, providing a cost-effective and efficient solution for personalized apparel. The most common way we indivdualise jersey numbers and names.
DYE SUBLIMATION
Dye Sublimation is the high detailed printing of a light weight moisture wicking fabric. Most sports teams use this method of decorating. The material is printed on a large printer then cut apart and sewn together. The design is scaled to the garment size so the bigger the garment , the bigger the images.
DIRECT TO GARMENT
Direct to garment or DTG is a process that prints high detailed images directly on to the garment with fabric ink. The material must be pre treated to seal the area that is going to be printed and the whole area is post heated and pressed to cure the ink. This is great for high detail, low quantity orders. This is also the least cost effective method.

About RED LEAF APPAREL
Our Story
Red Leaf Apparel started as the screen printing division of Knightworks Design back in the late 1980's. We felt the need to have it's own identity in the custom printed and embroidery apparel industry after years of co-branding. We started adding more equipment as technology advanced the different ways of apparel branding. All designs are done in house while most items are branded in-house or through a selection of experienced trade suppliers.
